For as long as I've ever known I've slept with the TV turned on (including audio) my entire life. In the rare times I slept at someone else's house or somewhere else there was no TV or radio I found it hard to get to sleep. I suppose I use it as 'white noise.'

What about you?

Radio yes. TV no, can't take the flashing lights in my eyes. Plus i can hear the hiss from the tv for some reason. Also enjoy having a loud fan or AC running constantly.

Used to put the tv on sleep timer for an hour or so. Now we use a white noise sound machine between the kids' rooms, but we can still hear it in the master bdrm.

Never unless you count falling asleep in the living room. For one I don't have a TV in my bedroom and for another I have heard/read doing so impacts the quality of your sleep. Do not remember why though.

Nope too distracting. Really tired ive fallen asleep infront of the tv but working nights I sleep in a darkened room with ceiling fan and table fan on

I tried with the radio on years ago when I was having sleep problems, found myself waking with a blistering headache, probably because I had it on Coast to Coast AM back in the Art Bell days. :oac:

never have had a tv in the bedroom.

When i was younger i did. But with a timer. Now that I'm older no. I prefer having someone to sleep with than having tv noise. I like hearing them breathe and feeling them close to me.

A TV in the bedroom is white trash. It irritates the shit out of :wifey: that I will not let her put a TV in our bedroom. I caved a little and let her put one in the guest room.
