For $79 for a $200 camera with 4+ stars at Amazon I'll put up with poor battery life.

I ordered the eneloop as I've found them highly recommended at sites all over from people who actually used them with their digital cameras, and I purchased a backup pack of Energizer Advanced Lithiums to keep on hand in case I ever need immediate power and the rechargeable are dead or not enough. Considering I'm not taking any vacations anytime soon i should be OK with just the rechargeable though.
