Man, **** this game. You feel my pain now? This is the shit I was telling you I went through with Half-Life2. This is what made me decide games on PC weren't worth the trouble. Even the neutered versions that make it to console are more fun, because you know they won't sell a console game that absolutely requires you to work off-site like this. At least not yet.

Been through it with WoW, Diablo III, and COD & MW. Online gaming blows on/around launch day and in general.

Well I finally figured out tonight when you are forced to play the "Getting Started" tutorial map you can quit out of the game and when you go back you can play the real game.

I figured that out early on. Never completed the tutorial. On a side note, I think I have a city or two on just about every server now, having had to switch so often due to login failures and queues.

I'm still getting rollbacks on one of my cities. Not sure what the story is with that, but I play it for 10-20 minutes and then it rolls back and I lose $200k and anything I've built.

I have two jobs, a pregnant wife, and a major house project going. :rolleyes:

Simcity is one of those games that you can play while doing other things.... in fact it's better that way because you don't micromanage and you build up a sizable amount of money.

I understand that. I leave my house at 6am, get home at 5pm to work in the yard/work on small house projects or go straight to the gym, come home around 6:30-7pm, help with cooking, cleaning and then it's almost bed time.

Or maybe I just don't make time to play.
