i'm not sure i buy that at all joe... its like yahoo telling you that you can't email somebody because you logged into the wrong server, utterly retarded considering the nature of the innernets

Game is still unplayable for me. I can't log into my old cities on multiple servers. I can create a new one on occasion, but I get kicked and can't get back in.

That would be consistent with my playing today. I gave 3 developed cities and just claimed a 4th in my region tonight. I was on from like 4pm until now with no problems. Have to say for a game so complicated they did a great job of keeping the "in game" bugs down, there are some annoying warnings for things that aren't true (streetcar stop not connected?) but otherwise very playable.
Subsequent cities are easier because you can sent police/fire/ambulance/garbage trucks from your existing cities to your new one so you can put off worrying about those things for a while.
Not sure if I never noticed or if it requires a department of finance but I saw tonight I can choose between a $25k/$50k/$100k bond, every time before I would have sworn $25k was the only one availabke.
If you plop down the "Globe Theater" monument and click on it you can actually sell tickets for plays- It was a $6,000 investment in the play and potential to make $42,000 back. I made $36,000 on my first try so a nice profit of $30,000. Seems like you can do it every day if you wanted.
This is the 3rd of 4.... With the first two in the background. This city is going to special in education- I left room for the University to grow. I'm also sending police and fire helicopters to the other cities.

ignoring the entire always connected nanny factor... and assuming someday one can connect and play without drama...
can you play alone? these four city regions, can you own them all?? i'm sure there are MMO fanatics who see different, but i dont want anyone involved in my game... good or bad, the only appeal for me is that i'm the one that gets to F things up or whatever, and if there are several cities in a region or whatever, i either want to take possession of them all, or just play one area in a stand alone way... if the grid comes with four cities, i'd like to mothball three and just play with one, and if i get that one to a point where i like it or its reached its max, then i would go open up city two, again on my own... can i??

It has something to do with your progress in the region, I think. When you first start in the region, you can only do $25k, then it ratchets up. I know you can get $50k without the department of finance, but I'm not sure about what lets you get $100k.
I did that on my rollback city one time before the rollback, but it didn't make anywhere near that much. It also annoyed me to have to micromanage the events.

I probably have regions on 5 or 6 servers now because I quite regularly can't get back onto a server where I have my existing cities. Yes, regions have 2-16 cities available. When you start a new region you can mark it public or private. Either way, you can claim as many available cities in the region as you want. Private just means other people can't come in and claim anything unless you invite them.

I've been playing Sim City 4 Deluxe and its buggy as shit. It's crashed three times.
Are you using latest patch version? SimCity 4 Patches, Download Patches for SimCity 4

I contacted support about my rollback issue on Friday. They told me to check back Monday if the issue persists and they'd elevate it. I logged in and it asked me to rollback the city again. Can't get into it now because it's processing. Will check back later.
Wel I had more issues yesterday than the day before but overall the game is turning out to be very playable for me.
What I discovered however that I hadn't noticed before (maybe didn't read up enough) is that despite having a large region (like 16 cities) all the cities are NOT connected to each other... It seems there are clusters of cities within a region, and only max of 4 cities are inter-connected.
I didn't realize this and when I got through 4 connected cities I was going to make a 5th that was all residential (mostly) to supply workers to the other cities- then got
when I saw no other cities had rail or road connections.
WTF is the point of a region then if you don't connect. This is in "Titan Gorge" region map. The others look the same.
My other WTF is how do I send resources to a "Great Works" project. I spent $1 Million on an international airport- it took the money, but now I have to send it a TON of resources (well many tons actually, and 250,000 barrels of oil!!?!?!) or it won't get built but I'm already out the money. I have no idea how to actually send the resources over. I have a trade depot with oil in storage and a recycling center reclaiming allow, but it never gets transferred out of the city.

Awesome. Did you find it online?After reading the reviews for SimCity 5, I decided to play SimCity Classic instead.

lmmfao.... dude, go to the SimCity forums and post that you patched the game, it's stable and runs offline, then post that picture and ask if someone can help you find where this build new casino button is
