NEVER EVER GET ANYTHING IN BOTH YOUR NAMES UNLESS THE LAST NAME IS THE SAME!!!! NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! NOT A CAR, NOT A BOAT, NOT A HOUSE NOT A BANKING ACCOUNT.

NOTHING!!!!!
Even if you have the same last name then still fight for everything to be yours only.

She is probably going to have to sign over some stuff on the house and hopefully she just wants to walk away. Otherwise you could be in for some fun. A buddy co-signed for his fiance a car and when she decided to leave him for another guy he got a call from his bank saying she was over 30 days late on the payment. He had to get a bunch of papers for her to sign and she gave him a hard time about it but finally he got the car completely in his name....

She has been realitively amiable with the house thing, she doesn't mind signing whatever for me to take over the house. But like I said, Ive lost all trust in her, so I expect anything @ anytime, I'm just going to work quickly on my end and hope that she does what she said she would...even though that didn't work out so hot with teh "no dating" thing, hence my worry.

Are you seriously that much of a pussy?

Good lord grow a sack. Put her stuff out onto the lawn, make her pick it up when you are home - you should've already changed the locks.

What are you waiting for? She's moved on and is done with you way before she moved out.

He does that AFTER SHE SIGNS THE PAPERS. Don't need a long drawn out legal mess.

Buying large items before getting married is stupid IMO.

I still wouldn't let her come by the house w/out me being there...I've done that before and half my stuff was gone too.
He doesn't have to let her in (although maybe legally he does...) but he should try to stay civil until he gets the house completely in his name.

Everyone is talking a big game, but Clownfish is right. This shiat could drag on indefinitely, almost like a real divorce. :bday:

PeanutHead, I'd definitely try to be there tonight. Be very nice, be polite, but be firm. There is NO POINT to being a dick.

Have the papers there for her to sign when she gets her stuff. After she signs, pay some homies to kneecap the dude after he leaves your house.

I'm sorry but why always go after the guy. He might not have even known she was living with someone. She's the one to blame, not the 3rd party.

Like the others said, she can still flip out and make this even more of a nightmare that it is now, considering she still "owns" the house.

My only question with myself being there is the fact that she is probably going to bring him...

Just need to find a buddy to fill in, thank god I have one that lives semi-close.

According to her, he know's all about this sh!t with us. She has a facebook page that up untill I told her last night still had her expression of extreme love in it.

It's not that I blame him, perse, I mean I definately blame her more. I just don't know how I would react if he started running his mouth. Actually, yes, I do. I could lose my cool really, really quickly in a situation like that.

Be there with the buddy and act like it doesn't mean chit to you.
Or, politely ask her to come back with someone else. OR, she may bring a guy (since it is moving) that may NOT be him. Who knows.

Good idea, except, I really, really didn't want to ever see her again. But I guess I'll have to put that feeling on the back burner because I don't want my sh!t stolen/jacked.

Yeah, dude.
Seriously, you need to put on the face that she doesn't mean chit to you. Be polite, but be cold. You're gonna be way worse if she pulls anything, so just suck it up for a few hours. You're almost done with her.

Take this, though: If she gets the impression you're over her already, it'll bug her. :yup: Even if she doesn't want you anymore, she wants you to miss her. Don't give her that. Give her the impression she is nothing.
